Love From a Forgotten Era

This tutorial was written for those that have a working knowledge of PSP (I use Version 9).

Artwork copyright to Scarlet Gothica.

Supplies Needed:

Tube of choice
Scrapkit: "Grungy Love" by Missy Lynn Scraps and can be purchased here.
Mask(s): by Vix (365), you can get it here.
Font(s): WaterbrushROB

Here we go!

Open a new image, 600x600 (we can resize later), flood fill with white.

Open paper4 - Copy, paste as a new layer, apply Vix mask 365, merge down, resize 90%,effects-texture effects-mosaic antique on the left: 50,50, check symmetric and on the right: 70,2,15.

Open frame1 - Copy, paste as a new layer, resize to your liking, duplicate, change blend mode on top frame to multiply.

Open paper 16 - Click inside of frame1 with your magic wand, add new layer, floodfill, move layer underneath frame.

Open doodle3&4 - Copy, paste as a new layer, resize to your liking and move on top of paper4 layer.

Open doodle4 - Copy, paste as a new layer, duplicate, change blend mode on top doodle to multiply, colorize R212, G143.

Open butterfly - Copy, paste as a new layer, arrange at top left, duplicate, change blend mode on top butterfly to mulitply. Repeat same steps for butterfly at the bottom but also mirror image.

Open a few flowers, the feather, ribbon, & charm - copy, paste as new layers, resizing each to your liking.

At this point, I usually resize if I need a smaller image. I also save both the original size and the smaller size images.

Add a new vector layer for your name.

Go back through to sharpen and add a drop shadow to your layers.

Add your copyright as the finishing touch.

Save your tag in your favorite format and you are done!!
